Environmental Commitment

A commitment to the environment runs throughout many of our focal International Business Segment applications e.g. coal-washing plants (to reduce airborne pollution), environmental controls in power plants (to reduce NOx and SOx emissions), systems designed to optimise the use of alternative fuels and we are proud of the contribution that we make.

Our environmental commitment also extends to rewarding innovation ideas that are submitted by our employees.  Recently, Schenck Process contributed to the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) reforestation project to help replenish the Amur region (located at the join of China and Russia) to the tune of one tree planted for every idea submitted.
